The VCs tend to get it right because they are the ones putting up cold hard cash.

Can you give us an article on utilising these network tools for strategic intentions. As an example using linkedIn to facilitate developing and building specific team with strategic Intent.

Maybe you should remind Brad of his review??

Cheers
Karl

Re: ZDNet social networking article misses the mark (and the facts)

C'mon, Scott! Right on!

The "business" of social networks is barely a year old, and is still largely venture-backed, which is undoubtedly according to "plan". Many, including LinkedIn, are still in the "pre-revenue" stage. That doesn't mean they don't have a business model, it's just that the author does not know what the business model yet is.

We may all be looking for the pony in the pile of poop, but for the time being, let's enjoy the digging! I think we are going to find something we are NOT looking for, and it will revolutionize the way we do business. But I'm an optimist, not a journalist.

Re: ZDNet social networking article misses the mark (and the facts)

I am the one person quoted in the above article who said that networking tools were working, in this case Linkedin, and you can see my blog How to Build Your Linkedin Business Network at the URL above or here
